30 for 30: Trail Blazers!

 Hello once again athletes!!!

I am back, with a late post. I ran out of pre-typed drafts and have been busy, so please excuse me. To keep the posting trend going, I decided for another edition of 30 for 30! This time, we have the Portland Trailblazers, as suggested by fellow Reporter, Eisner24. Let’s do this like Nike!

 Missed playoffs

PPG: 97.5 (15th) RPG: 40.8 (24th) APG: 21.8 (18th) PA: 100.7 (21st)

—-Players lost in offseason—-

  • J.J. Hickson

—-Players acquired in offseason—-

  • Thomas Robinson (Trade)
  • Mo Williams (Free agency)
  • CJ McCollum (Draft)
  • Robin Lopez (Trade)
  • Terrel Harris (Trade)
  • Dorell Wright (Free agency)

I really like what the Blazers did this offseason.  Getting another scoring guard to pair up with Lillard is a good move, and having Mo Williams to teach them along the way can’t hurt either. Hopefully they can save Thomas Robinson from falling out of the league due to lack of playing time in Sacramento and Houston. They did lose J.J. Hickson, which could hurt them, but they still have Aldridge to kind of hold it down. I think the Blazers main flaw is lack of size, I find they are too stacked on guards and aren’t focusing on getting a strong big man. But like I said, having a post player as efficient as Aldridge is still great. They might need another year to reach the playoffs, however.

Record- 39-42, 10th in West

Lineup- Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, Lopez

That’s it for now athletes. Remember to check the blog every day, and read all of the amazing posts by the Reporters.
