30 for 30: Knicks

 Hello once again athletes!!!

SPLASH! What’s this? The return of 30 for 30? Indeed athletes! Last year I had little to no time for posts, but now I have plenty of time (I make the drafts of all these posts at once and just post when I need to). I will do all 30 posts this time, probably 1 every 2 days give or take. This time, it will be the New York Knicks! Remember you can comment down below for what team I should do next! Let’s do this like Nike!

Lost in Eastern Conference Semi-Finals 4-2

PPG: 100.0 (11th)  RPG: 40.6 (26th) APG: 19.3 (Last) PA: 95.7 (7th)

Players lost in offseason:

  • Jason Kidd (Retirement)
  • Chris Copeland (Free agency)
  • Marcus Camby (Trade)
  • Steve Novak (Trade)

Players acquired in offseason:

  • Andrea Bargniani (Trade)
  • J.R. Smith (re-signed)
  • Metta World Peace (Free agency)
  • Pablo Prigioni (re-signed)
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. (draft)
  • CJ Leslie (Free agency)

The Knicks had a pretty good year in 2013. They made it past the 1st round which is a step in the right direction. Superstar F Carmelo Anthony led the league in points, nearly edging out F Kevin Durant. The Knicks didn’t get many assists, they were last in the league in fact. They did have a good defense, well defenders in Tyson Chandler and Iman Shumpert. They is the only ones on the team who can play defense consistently. Getting Bargniani is a win and a loss for them. A win because they get a 3 point shooting 7 footer, but a loss because they lose a more consistent shooter in Steve Novak, a seasoned veteran in Marcus Camby, and a, let’s be generous, horrible rebounding 7-footer. 4 RPG isn’t going to do it Barg!

I think the Knicks will make the playoffs, but will get tripped up in the Semi-Finals. They will start slow because the chemistry won’t be there yet, and players might play out of position.

Lineup- Felton, Shumpert, Anthony, Bargniani, Chandler

Record: 46-34, 6th place in East.

That’s it for now anthletes. Remember to comment below for what team you want to be next time! Check the blog every single day, and read all of the amazing posts by the Reporters.

4 spots remain for the AAS Fantasy Basketball League!!

Later athletes!

    My prediction:

    1. Heat
    2. Pacers or Bulls
    3. Bulls or Pacers
    4. Nets
    5. Knicks
    6. Pistons or Cavs
    7. Cavs or Pistons
    8. Wizards

I know the Hawks might make it, but I hope not. I want different teams and they always do nothing in the playoffs.

That’s actually really close to how my standings go. I have the Heat at 1, Bulls at 2 with Pacers at 3, Nets and Knicks, Cavs then Wizards then Pistons. Finally some team variety coming out of the East.

What do you think?
